Paula Feaheny

Founder & CEO, Dog Trainer & Behaviourist

To White Dog Canine Coaching, Paula brings over a decade of immersion in the world of dogs. Starting in pet retail, her fascination with canine nutrition & behaviour began, sparked by her adored dalmatian, Penny Lane. This led to a journey through dog sitting, walking, dog daycare and training. Paula's behaviour and training education, initially fuelled by passion, then took a dramatic acceleration after taking in Karl, a troubled adolescent dobermann.

Her journey eventually led to the creation & ownership of the renowned 'Bremeny School for Dogs,' which garnered multiple accolades and a spotless reputation throughout her time there as the go-to destination for regional dog owners.

Despite its tremendous success, in 2024, Paula made the decision to recommit her focus, away from daycare, back to training & behaviour —the core of her passion. With a love for protection sports, understanding of complex behavioural issues and extensive experience in training hundreds of pet puppies and their owners, she caters to a hugely diverse clientele. Her approach is to break down the complexity of training, inspiring owners to actively engage with their dogs while prioritising wellbeing, progress, and tangible results.

Paula has guest lectured on animal behaviour at the University of Galway and is a regular expert guest Newstalk radio.

When she's not working, Paula can be found training with her own Dobermann, Tony, in the sport of IGP. She loves beach & forest excursions with motley crew consisting of Tony, Nero (German shepherd mix), Pal (Westie) & Roisín (Chihuahua). Paula is a dedicated bottle feeder to orphaned kittens, fostering through multiple local charities. Paula also owns & operates www.modogo.com, an online shop catering for pet dogs, working/sport dogs & dog trainers.
